McDonalds UK has slashed the price of one of its most popular products, but fast food fans will have to be quick as the offer is only for one day.

The fast food giant is serving its beloved Big Mac for less than half the usual price.

From 11am, bargain hunters can buy the fans’ favorite Big Mac for more than 50 percent less than the usual price.

Normally a Big Mac costs £4.49, but today it only has a price tag of £1.49.

Customers should act quickly, however, as the deal is only available today at participating restaurants.

But the deals don’t stop at the Big Mac, as customers can earn points when they make money through the Big Mac MyMcDonalds app.

For every penny spent they earn a reward point, meaning those who already have more than 199 in the bank can get a Big Mac for free.

Customers also have the option to donate the cash equivalent of their points to Ronald McDonald House Charities, FairShare or BBC Children In Need.

This offer is only available through the MyMcDonalds app, downloadable from the Apple Store or Google Play.

This comes after a recent shake-up to McDonald’s UK menu last month, which saw the axing of a fan favorite.

The fast food chain delighted customers by announcing that it is launching two brand new pink-themed desserts just in time for Valentine’s Day, as well as bringing back a number of popular menu items.

The limited edition KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie has been available in restaurants nationwide since February.

Unfortunately, in order to bring these new, delicious items to market, some older options were taken to the chopping block.

The most notable item missing from the menu was the Steakhouse Stack, which fans previously called the “best burger ever.”

The popular burger consists of two 100 percent British and Irish beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions and red onions. You pay £5.39 for the burger alone or £6.99 for a meal.

Originally launched in March 2023, it’s both on the menu and for its promotional burger status – whoever it was, it proved an instant hit with fast food fans.

To kick off the new year, the fast food giant has relaunched the beloved burger nationwide from January 4.

However, it wasn’t the only item to say goodbye to the McDonald’s menu on February 6.

Other items dropped included the Fajita Chicken Wrap, Cheesy Garlic Bites, Cadbury Dairy Milk McFlurry and Cadbury Caramel McFlurry.
