In a Facebook post she said: “Don't forget to save the £1 Book Token from your children's Happy Meal Box World Book Day on March 7.”

Those who order the £3.89 Happy Meal will receive a £1 World Book Day token with their toy, drink, side dish and main course.

You can then go to the store and exchange it for one of the 12 books available for free.

Dozens of parents took to the comments section to share their excitement.

Avid readers can choose from a wide variety of authors and different stories.

In previous years, guests could choose from books written by Anthony Horowitz, Onjali Q. Raúf, Matt Haig and Beth Reekles.

But if any of the books on the list don't appeal to you, don't worry anymore.

Customers can also use the token to get £1 off a book or audiobook that costs at least £2.99 at some retailers.

All you have to do is go to the nearest branch and buy a Happy meal this month.

You will then need to take the token to a local participating bookstore or supermarket.
