If you're considering ordering in, you can choose from dozens of items, including burgers, wraps and dippers.

Most drinks are also vegetarian. Here you will find everything you can pick up if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Please note that the prices we have listed below may vary depending on your location.

McPlant burger

The McPlant burger contains a Beyond Meat patty with vegan cheese, salad and vegan burger sauce in a sesame seed bun.

It is vegan approved by the Vegetarian Association, meaning there is no cross-contamination with animal products in the kitchen or supply chain.

It costs £4.89 and comes in at 429 calories.

We blind tasted a McPlant and a beef burger when it came out, and here's what we thought.

The Spicy Veggie One

The Spicy Veggie wrap has proven to be a favorite among vegans at McDonald's.

It comes with Veggie Dippers consisting of yellow split peas, tomato, rice, bread crumbs and pesto inside.

On top of that is a spicy flavour, crunchy lettuce and tomato, wrapped in a softly toasted tortilla wrap that costs £3.79 or £5.39 as a medium meal.

The wrap itself contains 365 calories and, like the McPlant burger, is also certified vegan by the Vegetarian Association.

Vegetable Deluxe

The Vegetable Deluxe is not suitable for vegans, but it is suitable for vegetarians. It comes to 361 calories.

The £4.39 burger alternative features red pesto vegetarian goujons with sandwich sauce and shredded lettuce in a sesame bun.

Vegetarian dippers

McDonald's Veggie Dippers are available separately, as a meal or as a Happy Meal.

They consist of red pepper pesto and sun-dried tomatoes and are coated with crispy golden brown breadcrumbs.

Even though they have veggie in the name, they are also vegan.

They will set fans back £4.39 and come in at 321 calories.

Hash Brown

Vegans and vegetarians can get the hash browns as they come.

Hash Browns are a McDonald's staple, on their own or as a side dish for breakfast.

Crispy on the outside and served until 11am for the price of £1.49.

Chips

Vegans and veggies will be happy to know that McDonald's fries are meat and dairy free.

Fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, they are cut from whole potatoes.

Prices vary depending on which size you pick up. A small bag costs €1.59p, a medium €1.99 and a large fries €2.49.

pancakes

If you are looking for a vegetarian option on the McDonald's breakfast menu, this could be a suitable choice.

You can enjoy pancakes drizzled with syrup to start the day with a sweet treat, for only €3.29.

However, the sweet treat is not suitable for vegans.

Dad

McDonald's is selling porridge for early birds in select stores, and luckily vegetarians can fill up on the snack in the morning.

However, vegans are not so lucky, as they cannot try the breakfast item.

However, they don't have to spend £1.59 for breakfast either.

McFlurry

The best news for McDonald's lovers is that McFlurry's are also on the vegetarian menu.

That means they can enjoy mainstream Cadbury, Oreo, Maltesers and Smarties options while sticking to the vegetarian diet.

However, the dairy-based product is not suitable for vegans.

Each of the large McFlurrys will cost you between £1.99p and £2.29, while the mini versions cost from just £1.59.

Drinks and other desserts

If you need something to wash down all that goodness, you won't be disappointed to find that the majority of McDonald's drinks range is on the vegetarian menu.

For hot drinks, you can get everything from black coffee to toffee lattes, while fizz lovers can enjoy Fantas, cokes and more.

Vegetarians with a sweet tooth can also enjoy desserts such as toffee apple donuts, chocolate brownies, triple chocolate chip cookies, berry muffins and sugar donuts.

McDonald's are known for their cheap prices, but there's a way to get a Big Mac burger even cheaper at £2.99.

There is also another way to get a cheap cheeseburger with this voucher trick.
