A MONSTER husband has admitted murdering his wife and then dumping her dismembered body parts in a river.

Nicholas Metson, 28, murdered 26-year-old Holly Bramley at their flat in Lincoln.

He then took his wife’s mutilated body 12 miles away and dumped her in the River Witham.

Metson is now facing life in jail after admitting murdering Holly between March 17 and 25 last year.

The killer, who dramatically changed his plea, previously admitted conspiring to pervert the course of justice.

Accomplice Joshua Hancock, 27, admitted obstructing a coroner by helping to dispose of Holly’s remains.

The horror then unfolded last year Police were taken home after a report of welfare concern.

Holly’s body was discovered in the river the next day. Her cause of death remains unclear.

  • Make sure you always have some money with you, including change for a phone booth or bus ticket.
  • If you suspect your partner is about to attack you, try going to a lower-risk part of the house, such as where there is a way out and access to a telephone.
  • Avoid the kitchen and garage, where knives or other weapons are likely to be present. Avoid rooms where you could become trapped, such as the bathroom, or where you could be locked in a closet or other small space.

The couple are said to have met at Boston College in Lincolnshire in 2016 and married in 2021.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed at the time that they were not looking for anyone else in connection with Holly’s death.

Metson and Hancock will be sentenced on April 5.
