A Belgian milk and blonde chocolate with caramel pretzel and honeycomb has sent the internet into a frenzy.

“This is my dream egg needed to find this,” one Facebook user wrote, “Oh yeah! Good combination!” said another.

And it's not just the taste that gets customers excited, because the great treat is also cheap.

The egg costs just £5 and is well worth it for not one, not two, but five different flavours.

This isn't the only new product hitting the market in time for Easter.

Sweet treat lovers are also excited about M&S's introduction of three different types of hot cross buns.

These include Extremely Cheesy Hot Cross Buns, Extremely Chocolatey Hot Cross Buns and Extremely Caramely Hot Cross Buns.

Sugar lovers have flocked to social media to share their joy over the release of the new product.

The caramel rolls are the last of the new rolls to hit shelves and will be available for purchase in stores from February 28.

The announcement of the new flavor has been widely praised by Facebook users.

I heard Morrisons was cutting Easter eggs to just 75 cents so I grabbed a trolley full – but trolls are calling me selfish

One wrote: “We have to try these,” while another agreed, saying: “Omg how good they look, I have to try!”

A third even went so far as to write: “The only hot cross buns I eat.”

And a fourth thought: “to try with a cup of tea.”

Chocolate professional Nestle is also preparing for Easter and has launched a new bar to celebrate.

The new treat, called the Nestle Aero share-a-bubble, has a choco-hazelnut flavor – and shoppers claim it tastes just like Nutella.

And Mars has followed suit by announcing a new cookie flavor.

New Twix Secret Center cookies have launched in UK stores.

The new cookie takes the DNA of a traditional Twix bar in a convenient coin-shaped cookie.

Twix wouldn't be Twix without the combination of caramel and biscuit covered in delicious milk chocolate.

Twix Secret Center Biscuits are available now from Home Bargains for £1.69.
