Mother of stillborn baby discovered in Three Horse Shoes pub toilet, found after 'disturbing' death – The Sun
THE mother of a stillborn baby discovered in a pub toilet has been found following the girl's “disturbing” death.
The baby was tragically found at the Three Horse Shoes, in Oulton, nearby Leedson Sunday.
Unfortunately, it was revealed that the mother had gave birth to the stillborn baby in the cell.
Detectives pleaded with the mother on Monday to identify herself as concerns grew for her welfare.
West Yorkshire Police have now said they have identified a woman they believe is the mother.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police investigations have identified a woman believed to be the mother of a newborn girl found deceased in a cafe in Oulton.
“She has now received appropriate medical care and ongoing support.
“Thank you to everyone who supported us with our questions.”
Paramedics rushed to the scene and confirmed the child had died around 4:45 p.m.
It is understood the pub was in the middle of Sunday roast service when the heartbreaking discovery was made.
Owners apologized to customers on Facebook and remained closed Tuesday.
