Marks and Spencer is selling a Sunday Roast Dinner meal for two for £12

Now M&S's Dine In for Two bargain is back and you can pick up all your favourites, roasts, yorkies, veg and gravy.

The upmarket supermarket has carried out the deal in previous years, with the price set to be £10 in 2023 and £8 in 2020.

The price of food, like many other items, has risen due to inflation and some supermarkets have reduced the sides of their products to keep prices the same, known as shrinkflation.

The delicious deal is for two and is available to buy in all M&S Foodhalls, but only for a limited time.

The £12 deal runs from now until February 8, significantly two weeks shorter than last year's deal.

If you buy them individually, the stacked items will cost at least £20 and M&S estimates you will save an average of £6.75 with this deal.

Many shoppers have praised the supermarket for its bargain deal on Facebook and Instagram.

One customer said: “M&S did it.”

Another said: “Love the meal deals… there is no waste.”

“Great offer. Ate beef yesterday. Delicious,” someone else declared.

“Spoiled for choice! Looks great,” said a fourth user.

Although shoppers were quick to point out that the deal did not offer vegan or vegetarian options within the selected main courses.

Iceland does a similar Sunday Roast deal, which includes a portmanteau, three sides or desserts and is enough to feed people.

Of course, you can also purchase the items individually, rather than as part of a deal.

It may be cheaper to go to a cheaper supermarket to choose your meat and pick up M&S three for a £7.50 deal on the sides.

You can buy M&S Colcannon Potato Mash, M&S Creamed Spinach, M&S Peas & Carrots with Mint Butter all for £7.50.

If you combine this with a piece of meat from a cheaper other, such as Tesco, which sells a £6 rotisserie chicken.

You can find your local store using the search function on the M&S website.

Please note that prices may vary in selected stores.

As an independent retailer, Ocado sets its own prices for M&S products, including this deal, so the products may be priced differently.

You can use comparison tools such as Trolley.co.uk to find similar food items from other retailers and compare prices.

How to save money at M&S

Look for the red stickers on products that indicate they have been discounted.

Most supermarkets have a special area on the floor for these items and usually items are discounted at certain times of the day.

Contact your local supermarket. They may be able to tell you when it is best to shop to get the best deals.

Making a list before you head out can also save you money and minimize the temptation to fill the cart with other things.

Also make sure you check out the supermarket's own brand as this is where you can save big compared to buying branded items.
