Mumbai communal clash: BMC demolishes illegal structures and encroachments on Mira Road on government orders

Mira Road: After an incident of communal violence was reported near Mira Road in Maharashtra on the eve of the Ayodhya Ram Temple ceremony, the illegal structures and encroachments in the area have been razed by bulldozers. A viral video shows that the action took place in the Naya Nagar area on Mira Road, where the Ram Mandir Pranpratishtha celebrations were pelted with stones. The action was taken following instructions from the Maharashtra government. The counter action against the violence is being taken by the municipal corporation with the help of police, the Maharashtra government said, according to a report by news agency IANS.
