Where does he keep his public transport chip card? Naked commuter is spotted strolling around the City of London wearing only a rucksack, flip flops and a takeaway coffee

  • The naked hiker was spotted at 8 a.m. wearing only flip flops and a backpack

A coffee-drinking commuter wearing only flip flops and a backpack has been spotted roaming the streets of London.

The naked commuter was pictured holding a takeaway coffee and what appears to be a pastry in a paper bag outside the Old Bailey in the City of London.

He was spotted walking the streets of London’s financial district at 8 a.m. on June 27 as workers made their way to offices.

The bizarre scene, which took place during rush hour, raises the question of where the naked commuter keeps his public transport chip card.

An amused passerby took pictures of the pedestrian without pants as he went for a blood test.

The passerby said the unusual incident instantly cheered them up, as they claimed seeing the naked walker “made my day.”

The passing photographer, who suffers from cancer and has to have weekly blood tests, said the scene made them laugh.

The passerby who snapped the photo of the naked commuter said, “He had no pants on, you could see everything. He had a grin on his face as if he liked being an exhibitionist.

‘I have cancer and have to have blood tests every week. I was so annoyed this morning but I saw him and I just smiled, it made my day.

‘I laughed but afterwards I thought: ‘What if I had my grandchildren with me?’

Public nudity is not illegal in England as long as there is no sexual context or intent to cause alarm or fear, the Crown Prosecution Service said.
