Netflix SHUT DOWN by viewers for releasing ‘worst Christmas movie ever’ despite an all-star cast

Viewers have trashed one of Netflix’s latest Christmas releases, labeling it the worst festive film ever, even though it has a star-studded cast.

To rub salt in the wound, the film that is now available on the streaming platform has made a terrible impression Rotten Tomato score of 33 percent.

The best Christmas ever! sees mother-of-two Charlotte (Heather Graham) arriving uninvited at the home of her ex-best friend, Jackie (Brandy Norwood) in an attempt to discover if her boastful annual festive newsletters are in fact true.

But Charlotte is surprised when she discovers her former friend’s seemingly perfect life.

Charlotte spends the holidays with her former girlfriend’s family, along with her husband Rob (Jason Biggs) and children Dora (Abby Villasmil) and Grant (Wyatt Hunt).

Despite witnessing Jackie’s life firsthand, it’s all real. Charlotte is not convinced.

She is jealous of Jackie, who has a ten-year-old daughter who goes to Harvard, a son who is helping with a humanitarian crisis in Africa, and a beautiful husband named Valentino (Matt Cedeño).

In an attempt to poke holes in her former friend’s life, the mother of two searches the Jenning family home.

She is also looking for a letter her husband Jackie sent, as the two had previously dated in college.

Everything soon reaches a boiling point when Charlotte accidentally damages a dollhouse that Jackie built over the course of a few months.

The family later brings up Charlotte’s latest actions, with Rob pointing out that she is only trying to find something wrong in Jackie’s life because she is so unhappy with her own life.

After admitting that she tried to find the letter, Rob admits that it was a festive newsletter that he sent to various people every year.

He hadn’t told his wife about the Christmas letters because he knew how much she despised them.

While driving back to her house, Charlotte is stopped by a woman dressed as an angel who tells her to spend the holidays with Jackie, adding, “She loves company, especially this time of year.”

Shortly afterwards, the mother of two drives past a sign with Jackie’s son’s name, which reads: “Daniel Jennings Memorial Fund.”

Charlotte realizes that Jackie’s son David was not in Africa, but had actually died, and rushes back to Jackie’s house.

A grieving Jackie explains that she couldn’t bear to write about Daniel’s death, so instead she wrote as if Daniel had created the foundation in an effort to keep his memory alive.

Despite the film’s plot being seemingly heartwarming, some fans still go so far as to call it the “worst movie of all time.”
