The model, 42, first shared her lasagna recipe with the world in 2020, as the first dish she made in her YouTube series Cooking with Paris.

Although it is clearly a tried and tested recipe, the finished dish looked rather dry when it came out of the oven.

Paris looked pleased with herself as she lifted it out of the oven and proudly announced ‘Sliving Lasagna’ to her army of followers.

Still, there seemed to be a lack of bubbly melted cheese, as the top layer of the classic Italian dish was covered in dry and curly pasta sheets.

Even Paris herself seemed to visibly struggle to cut through the dish as she pushed the knife in, before admitting: “It’s hard to cut through.”

Unlike traditional lasagna recipes with a creamy béchamel sauce, Paris used a single layer of thick ricotta cheese before topping it all off with grated mozzarella.

  • Lasagna sheets (non-stick)
  • Garlic cloves and onions (optional
  • Pepper (11 turns for luck)
  • Himalayan salt
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Grated mozzarella
  • tomato sauce
  • Meat (not specified but drained)

Paris also cooked her meat and sauce separately, and in her original video, fans showed that draining all the juice from the meat before adding it to the sauce is a crucial step.

She poured the pulpy juice down the sink and explained, “You have to get all the oily stuff out, it’s so gross.”

The recipe states that both onions and garlic are optional, but on this occasion Paris opted to add the vegetables, making sure she wore her sunglasses to protect her eyes.

Although Paris didn’t mention quantities or measurements in her original video, she explained that she turns the pepper mill 11 times to represent the happiness of 11:11.

Created by Paris herself, she calls her infamous lasagna the ‘living lasagna’, a mix of the words killing and living.

Paris took the world by storm in 2020 with her lasagna recipe and even appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show to show viewers how to make it.

As she lay in bed, Kelly exclaimed, “Oh my God, this is really good. Wow. Good recipe. Girl, that’s so good’, before telling the audience: ‘You want to cook this too, trust me’.

He concluded: ‘The infamous lasagna is even worse after a night in the fridge, when it tastes like a leather shoe dipped in meat pie.’

Elsewhere, Italian chef Vincenzo took to his YouTube channel to review the recipe.

The chef criticized Paris for first cooking the meat without onions or vegetables, explaining that this is where the meat gets most of its flavor.

As Paris poured all the juice from the meat down the sink, he exclaimed, “I’ve never seen this before in my life, and besides, that sauce she’s talking about is full of flavor.”
