Poppedo Gary Glitter, 79, tells prison friends he thinks he will die in prison after losing final bid for parole
POP pedophile Gary Glitter has resigned to dying in prison after losing a parole hearing.
The serial sex offender79, has told jail friends, he fears he will not be released before his sentence expires in 2031.
And he has bleated about The Sun's role in him kept behind bars – after our investigation led to his recall to prison in March
A source said: “Glitter is really down and complaining about his situation.
“He said, 'I'm going to die in prison now,' and he's resigned himself to that.
“He would be almost 87 by the time his sentence ends and he knows the effect being inside can have on you health.”
Glitter – real name Paul Gadd – was released last year halfway through a 16-year prison sentence for abuse three girls.
But within weeks The Sun discovered him in a bail hostel talking about the dark web.
Our revelations meant he was recalled to HMP The Verne, Dorsetand two weeks ago the Parole Board blocked his release, saying he still posed a risk.
Our source said: “He still blames everyone for his situation, instead of accepting that it is his fault.
“He mainly blames The Sun for being where he is and complains that the newspaper did that current about him.
“He can reapply for parole, but will likely be denied because he has not changed.”
