Primark fans cheer as new 'scrunch' sets go viral, overtaking 'seamless' cult buys

STEP aside seamless sets, there's a new Primark duo in town – and they've already earned a cult fanbase.

The fast fashion retailer's new 'scrunch' sets are designed for the gym, but comfortable enough to work out as loungewear.

The sets are part of Primark's L2L Workout range and consist of a sports bra and high-waisted shorts.

They cost £9 each and are available in green, grey, black and white.

The size range is from XS to XL, with XS designed for sizes 4 to 6 and the Small for sizes 8 to 10.

The Medium sets are for sizes 12 to 14, the Large sets for sizes 16 to 18 and XL are for sizes 20 to 22.

Body positivity content creator Liv Louise took to TikTok to showcase the sets, saying they are brand new to the Primark track.

“I see new scrunch sets at Primark,” she wrote.

“They know what they are doing.

“They knew we would love it.”

According to Liv, you can find the 'scrunch' sets alongside the viral seamless sets.

Scrunch or ruffle leggings and shorts are designed to strengthen your glutes, giving you the illusion of a “bubble butt.”

GymShark's designers, who produce a wide range, called them an 'industry game changer' when they started producing the design more than three years ago.

Fashion fans flocked to the comments on Liv's video to give their thoughts on the new sets Primark is offering.

Numerous women commented that they “have to find them” at their local store, while others called them “stunning.”

“I won't leave Primark until I get some,” one viewer commented.

“These are way too cute,” wrote a second.
