Queen Camilla’s children and grandchildren appear to be celebrating Christmas with their mother and King Charles this year after reportedly being invited to Sandringham.

It is believed to be the first time that Tom Parker Bowles, 48, and his younger sister Laura Lopes, 45, the Queen’s children by her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles, have been invited to spend Christmas at Sandringham House.

According to ITV Royal Editor Chris Ship, this year’s guest list has been ‘radically changed’ for the first time since the death of Queen Elisabeth in 2022 to accommodate Queen Camilla’s side of the family.

It is likely that the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children will join the King and Queen at the Norfolk estate over the festive period, along with other senior members of the Royal Family.

Food critic and MasterChef star Tom Parker Bowles has two children, Lola, 16, and Freddy, 13, with his ex-wife Sara Buys.

It remains unclear whether such a royal invitation has also been extended to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

There have been reports in recent days that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are keen to build bridges and ‘wouldn’t refuse’ an offer to join His Majesty over the festive period.

Another royal insider suggested to the Mail that they believed the King would be more likely to invite Harry and Meghan to visit him in Scotland over the New Year, when the Waleses would be at Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk.

Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on the latest reports.

But sources have previously told the Mail that the king will never ‘close the door’ on his youngest son and believes their relationship can be repaired behind closed doors in time.

So the sudden wave of briefings from Team Sussex has caused enormous frustration in recent days, but King Charles has made it clear that Harry – and his family – are welcome to stay on royal property if they come to Britain.

“Normally Christmas plans are set by now as Sandringham isn’t particularly big and there isn’t much room for the whole extended family,” another source warned.

‘It would be surprising if the Sussexes had not already received an invitation if one were to be made. New Year in Scotland would be more likely.

“But as with everything to do with Harry and Meghan, let’s face it: anything can happen.”
