New Delhi: A grand rehearsal for the dedication ceremony of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya will be held during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya on December 30. PM Modi will inaugurate Ayodhya Airport and Ayodhya Railway Station before holding a public meeting at the premises of Uttar Pradesh. temple town ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22 next year.

The Prime Minister will also operate two trains from Ayodhya railway station, including a Vande Bharat.

Ayodhya braces for PM’s visit, Yogi discusses development work

Ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit to Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday reviewed the preparations and progress of development work in Ayodhya.

Adityanath said Modi will arrive here on December 30, before the much-awaited ordination ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on January 22, and launch a slew of projects worth thousands of crores.

On his arrival here, the Prime Minister would be greeted with a shower of flowers and chanting of mantras, Yogi told the officers, adding that all routes traveled by Modi and his convoy should be decorated with flowers.

In view of the expected gathering of 1.5 to 2 lakh people from nearby districts during the Prime Minister’s public meeting, adequate parking facilities and basic amenities should be made on the main roads connecting Ayodhya for the people going to the public meeting, he said. .

Beauty of ‘Treta Yug’

For the upcoming inauguration ceremony, Adityanath instructed hotels to cancel all bookings in advance so that the administration does not face any problem in receiving the special invitees who would arrive here for the inauguration ceremony.

Adityanath directed the officials to ensure that Ayodhya is decorated with the splendor of the ‘Treta Yug’. He asked them to decorate local monasteries and temples and have a large arch prepared.

The Chief Minister also directed officials to expedite the ongoing work on Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Janmabhoomi Path, Dharma Path and the road connecting Ayodhya airport bypass to Nayaghat.

It should be ensured that footpaths are used by devotees and vehicles should move on the main carriageway. Where there is sufficient width, seating areas and other public facilities should be developed, he directed the officials.

He said that projects worth over Rs 30,000 crore are underway in Ayodhya under the Prime Minister’s leadership and the quality of these construction projects should also be monitored regularly.

The Prime Minister also asked officials to pay special attention to cleanliness during Modi’s visit and deploy additional manpower if necessary.
