In a conversation with Harper Bazaar, Samantha was asked if she actively made sure her fans were involved in her successes and challenges. The actress says: “When I experienced a major low point due to a failed marriage, and my health and work were affected, it felt like a series of setbacks; One after another. Many people struggle with much less than what I have experienced over the past two years. During that difficult time, I found comfort in reading about other actors who had overcome health challenges.”

After completing the Indian part of the action thriller Citadel, Samantha decided to take a break from her acting career to prioritize her health. She sought treatment for the autoimmune disease Myositis in the United States and also traveled to various destinations around the world. According to rumors, Samantha plans to resume her acting career and return to the set in early 2024. She is eager to get back to work and is expected to be involved in promotions for Citadel.
