Sickening videos have been released of a series of hit-and-run incidents in which an impaired driver deliberately runs over pedestrians on the streets of Seattle, while the occupants of the car responsible can be heard laughing in the background.

Footage has been released by Seattle Police showing two separate incidents occurring within a few blocks of each other.

Video captured by surveillance cameras corresponds to recording from inside the vehicle itself, filmed on a cell phone and later posted on social media.

In the first incident, a woman can be seen crossing the street as the vehicle aims at her before she reaches the other side.

The disturbing actions are then witnessed from inside the car, with the occupants laughing and shouting at each other as they appear to enjoy knocking over an unsuspecting member of the public.

In mobile footage from inside the car, one of the occupants can be heard saying: ‘Hit this b****, hit this b****’, before the car hits the woman walking near the corner.

In the second incident, which happened just a few blocks away, the driver targeted another pedestrian who was walking in a bus lane after the sidewalk was closed for construction.

The driver of the vehicle again aims directly at the pedestrian and hits them head-on from behind, not giving them a chance to get out of the way.

A loud crash is heard as their body hits the hood of the car, sending them flying over the roof of the vehicle.

Seattle Police Chief Adrian Diaz says the “disturbing” attacks have left him “extremely concerned.”

Officers say it is likely the victims suffered serious injuries based on the speed of the impact.

In both incidents, the suspect’s car did not stop.

Detectives have attempted to locate the victims by searching local hospitals, but have so far been unable to find those affected.

Police are asking anyone with information about the attacks to contact the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
