We test three setting sprays to help you get makeup like Taylor Swift

TAYLOR SWIFT's flawless makeup seemed to last for hours as she watched the Super Bowl last week.

I've been putting setting sprays to the test over the past month to achieve similar results.

L'Oréal Paris Infallible 3 Second setting mist, £9.99 for 75ml, boots.com: The latest setting spray to land on my desk, launched last month and from the number 1 authority on hairspray.

The aerosol makes this mist weightless, so much so that I wasn't entirely sure if it hit my face or not.

It dries in just three seconds and guarantees that the make-up is completely transfer-proof.

I did notice that my foundation was still on a tissue when I blew my nose, but it didn't disappear when I hugged my boyfriend.

The only thing I don't like is the smell, it's too strong.

Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, £12 for 30ml, boots.com: This is the first setting spray I ever used, over ten years ago, and it still works for a reason.

Unfortunately, despite its cult status, it's no longer in my regular rotation for a few reasons — the main one being that it leaves a dewy finish, which isn't great on my oily skin, and it's a rather watery formula that I find can cause my make-up to run.

If you have dry skin or don't wear much makeup, you'll probably have better results. A seven-day study by All Nighter found that 78 percent of 50 participants said their makeup lasted longer. 16 hours so I could be alone in my thoughts.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless setting spray, £19 for 34ml, cultbeauty.com: This was launched in 2020, a real make-or-break year for cosmetics.

We needed to be undisturbed by Covid masks, but we also wore far less because we rarely left our own homes.

Fortunately – and largely thanks to how good it is – it has quickly established itself as the most beloved setting spray among beauty editors.

The mist is fine, so it doesn't disturb the makeup at all and dries quickly.

Best of all, it does what it says on the tin and keeps your look flawless all day long. By far my favorite.

THERE are so many new beauty launches that when I repurchase, you know it's good.

That's certainly the case for Beauty Pie Happy Face 10% Azelaic Acid Skin Brightening Gel Cream, £22 for members.

It soothes the skin and reduces pimples, scars, sensitivity and redness.

It's finally on the shelves and I've already restocked it.
