SRK and Vijay finally reunite after the success of Jawan and Leo, Atlee says ‘could be my next film’

Chennai: After the huge box office success of Jawan, Atlee is currently on a break. However, he says that once he starts his schedule again, he will write a film with his favorite superstars – Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay. The director has always attributed his success to Vijay, with whom he has made several films SRK, he recently delivered the most successful Bollywood film. The idea of combining these two forces seems destructive and bigger than ever. And Atlee is not afraid to continue doing so.

During his recent interaction with a YouTuber, the director talked about his plans for the upcoming films and the one with SRK and Vijay is definitely on the cards. He recalled an incident to explain how both stars are keen to work together and he has to fulfill that project soon. Atlee said, “I called Vijay Anna and invited him to the party, and he said he would definitely make it. So when he came, Shah Rukh sir and Anna discussed with each other and called me. Shah Rukh sir told me that if I ever have plans to direct a film with dual heroes, both of them are ready. Vijay Anna also said, ‘Ama pa’. So I’m working on it. It could be my next film. I’m working very hard on coming up with a script for it. Let’s see.”

Vijay, who is currently basking in the success of Lion, landed on the sets of Jawan when the team was shooting for the song ‘Zinda Banda’ and the two stars got chatting for a while. Atlee has expressed his gratitude to both Vijay and SRK for trusting his filmmaking skills and working with him for their respective blockbusters.

Meanwhile, the director is also working on a film for which a Hollywood studio has approached him. Earlier, at an event, Atlee talked about making a huge budgeted film with Vijay and SRK. “Massive” is the word for this film, whenever it takes place. Are you enthusiastic yet?
