TV personality, music manager and author Sharon Osbourne, 71, has three children with rock star husband Ozzy, 74.

I lost too much weight with OZEMPIC

In the late 1990s I had surgery to 'bandage' my stomach. As a result, I didn't have to eat as much to feel full.

I have never been a drug addict. When Ozzy and I first got together, I tried to keep up with his drinking, but I was useless. One wine gum and I'm on the floor.

No, my weakness has always been food. When I'm happy, I eat. When I'm sad, I eat. I was a pig. At my heaviest I weighed 225 pounds – that's just over 16 stone. And I'm only 6 feet tall. I weighed more than my husband.

So I made it my job to lose almost half my body weight. As a result, there was meat hanging everywhere. My breasts were flat and saggy.

I underwent a series of cosmetic procedures, starting with a brow lift and facelift. I had liposuction in my neck and also had it lifted. I had my breasts lifted, my arms lipoed and my stomach tucked in. I had my bottom lifted and implants placed.

Then I had a facelift three and a half years ago, but the guy messed it up. I was left with one eye higher than the other. It took a year before everything was in order. I scared myself with what happened.

Last December, I resorted to injecting myself with Ozempic, a semaglutide that tricks the brain into thinking you're not hungry. I lost 42 pounds – that's third – but it was too much.

Now I weigh a little more than 7st. I need to gain 5 kilos, but no matter how much I eat, I stay the same weight.

I'm done with it. I have given up all interventions. I couldn't have much more facial surgery – there isn't that much skin left to stretch, pull or cut. And I don't want to have fillers or Botox anymore.

I don't think I'll ever be happy with the way I look. But I'm satisfied now. It took me years to say this, but I learned my lesson. This is me. It's finally time to get some good rest.
