There are TWO huge games from popular IPs on the horizon, and we finally know when the long-awaited games will finally release.

Back in June 2023, publisher Ubisoft gave us our first look at Star Wars Outlaws, and fans were eager to get their hands on a new game in the series.

We've seen very little of Assassin's Creed Codename RedCredit: Ubisoft

It is a narrative adventure with a massive open world focused on the adventures of outlaw Kay Vess and her companion Nix.

The open world will feature familiar planets such as Tatooine, in addition to new areas such as the moon of Toshara.

While we already know a lot about Star Wars Outlaws, its release date has remained a mystery.

A statement alongside Ubisoft's earnings report revealed that Star Wars Outlaws will be released ahead of launch end of 2024.

However, Star Wars wasn't the only highly anticipated game from Ubisoft to finally get a release date.

Little is known about Assassin's Creed Codename Red, other than that it will be a full-fledged installment in the series set in feudal Japan.

This is the first time the series has been brought to Japan, but we've seen little of the game beyond a short teaser trailer.

This is why fans were surprised to hear a release date in the same earnings report.

Ubisoft claims that Assassin's Creed Codename Red will be released in the financial year 2025.

Financial years differ from regular years and the 2025 financial year lasts from April 2024 until March 2025.

Since we've seen so little of the game, this is much sooner than fans expected.
