A woman with the ‘world’s biggest lips’ has revealed she had six procedures done in one day as an ‘experiment’ – even though her usual doctor refused to do it.

Bulgaria’s Andrea Ivanova regularly makes headlines for her improved appearance, which has seen her spend an estimated £20,000 on lip fillers alone.

Although the 26-year-old has previously admitted she struggles to find love due to her dramatic appearance, this hasn’t stopped her from her goal of having the biggest lips and cheeks in the world.

In an attempt to realize her ambition, she underwent six procedures in one day as an ‘experiment’, spending a staggering £830 on the invasive process.

Her long list of treatments included chin shaping, jaw enlargement and lengthening, jaw shaping and lip enlargement, as well as cheekbone enhancement – ​​all in one go.

“My doctor was afraid to inject more hyaluronic acid into my lips, but I was convinced that I wanted more and that I wasn’t going to stop,” said Andrea.

‘I wanted to do six procedures at the same time, because until now I always did them in different places on the face, on different days.

Andrea revealed it was extreme, confessing that she previously only had a maximum of three needles in her face at a time.

‘But this time I wanted to experiment on myself to see how many injections and [amounts of filler] would affect my body,” she said.

The social media influencer even had to find a doctor in Germany to perform the procedures on February 21, 2024, which her usual surgeon outright refused.

And while Andrea was excited about the experience, she admitted that it had been extremely painful – even more so than normal.

“I have pain all over my face at the moment and my jaw and chin are hurting a lot,” she said.

‘It’s hard for me to laugh because of the pain in my cheekbones and there’s a tightening sensation across my face.’

However, she thinks that this feeling after the treatment is normal because the ‘filler is not yet in place’.

Andrea makes it clear that it is difficult for her to eat at the moment and is confident that her lips ‘don’t hurt’.

She added: ‘I only feel minor discomfort, but that’s where I have the most amount of filler and have had injections most often.

“The more filler there is, the less the area hurts.”

Despite the pain, Andrea has no plans to slow down or diminish her voluptuous appearance.

The former philosophy student was planning to go to Germany to see the same surgeon as her usual doctor, and is skeptical about the progress of her transformation.

But now even the German doctor has expressed his concerns.

“I wasn’t afraid to get so many injections at once because I trust my doctor and they are a great professional in the field of cosmetic surgery,” she said.

“But they are concerned that I will develop necrosis and have to have the tissue surgically removed from my lips if I continue.”

Necrosis is the death of body tissue, which occurs when not enough blood flows to the tissue, according to the NHS.

This condition can be caused by radiation, chemicals, or injury and can be fatal in some cases.

“There are risks involved, such as inflammation and increased body temperature, especially when there is so much at once,” she added.

‘I currently have facial swelling and bruising, which is normal due to the many needles, but I think I will recover in a few days.’

Despite the health risks, Andrea is determined to get more filler without any breaks and is already planning her next procedure.

“You shouldn’t judge people by their appearance because that is their taste and no one has the right to be offended by that,” she said.

‘I think I will continue to do multiple injections in one day in the future because it makes me very happy.’

Eight years ago, she had attended a festival with a friend whose longevity shocked her because of the red lips.

“I remember on the second day I woke up looking like a struggle bus and she came out with the most beautiful red lipstick,” she said.

“I remember thinking to myself, ‘Damn, that’s brave. I would never trust my lipstick to last that long.’

But to her surprise, her friend’s lipstick passed the test with flying colors.

“Sure enough, 12 hours later it looked perfect,” she said.

“The secret is this: Do your routine, whatever it is. I like to line up swipes and then use lipstick.”

Liz lined her lips with a bright red lip liner and then applied a layer of lipstick over the top.

When she was done, she blotted her lips with a tissue.

“Don’t rub, just keep dabbing!” she advised.

“Blot until nothing more is transferred to the napkin.”

When that was done, she covered her lips with a layer of powder.

“It will feel dry, it will be in there and then just do your process again,” she said.

While the powder was in her lips, she reapplied her lip liner and lipstick.

“I’ve tried this with MANY lipsticks over the years and it ALWAYS helps,” she said.

She added that she applied her lipstick at 8am and it lasted ten hours.

She grabbed a concealer and a nude lip liner that was only slightly darker than her own lips to demonstrate the trick.

“I'm going to show you how to make this bigger if you want,” she said.

“Please don't be mad at yourself. It's okay not to want bigger lips, just scroll away.”

First, she used concealer to hide her lip lines, including the cupid's bow.

“You want to get rid of your boundaries. You want the pigmentation to be gone a little bit,” she said.

“You're going to line the center of your lips.”

Chloe used the liner to lightly outline the center of her mouth and continued to outline the rest of her lips as normal for a natural look.

“Just the centers,” she said, retracting her cupid's bow.

She came up with a filling method that she says looks much more natural and doesn't require as much work – but it's controversial.

Beauty expert Giorgina Juanita (@gjuanita) said she's no longer a fan of lined lips.

Luckily, she has a hack that will give you the pout you're looking for, without all the excess makeup.

“If you want fuller lips but you're still doing this like we did in 2016, let me help you sis. It is time for a new technology,” she said in the newspaper clamp.

She started by showing the results of her method, noting that it had a double whammy.

“It looks much fuller, but at the same time more natural.”

To achieve her look, take a brown lip liner and place three short lines in the 'hollow areas' around it: one above each peak and slope of your upper lip, and one in the center under your lower lip.

“I know it looks really funny, but this is where you use your fingers.”

She said to blend the lines by using the warmth of your fingers so they become more subtle.

“What you're doing is essentially contouring your lips so they look bigger without really looking unnatural.”

Why lips get dry

The skin on your lips is not only thin, but it also lacks certain moisture-retaining properties that other parts of the skin have, such as hair follicles, oil glands and a thick layer of dead skin cells, said Dr. Rogers. That makes lips “so soft and sensitive,” she added.

When our lips are exposed to environmental stressors such as ultraviolet light, air pollutants, cold or high temperatures, and certain foods and drinks, they can become dry and irritated, said Dr. Sam Awan, a dermatologist in McKinney, Texas. Licking your lips, which you're likely to do when they're dry, can make the problem worse because the digestive enzymes in saliva can cause irritation.

That's why chapped lips are so common, said Dr. Awan.

What to look for and what to avoid with a lip balm

The most effective lip balms contain ingredients that attract moisture (known as humectants), add moisture and oil (emollients) and form a protective barrier to retain moisture (occlusive agents), said Dr. Awan.

Look for products that contain petroleum jelly (commonly listed as petrolatum or white petrolatum on the labels), castor oil and glycerin, said Dr. Rogers. The American Academy of Dermatology also recommends lip balms that contain ceramides, hemp seed oil, dimethicone, mineral oil and shea butter. Coconut, avocado and extra virgin olive oil also help nourish chapped lips, said Dr. Danny C. Del Campo, a dermatologist in Chicago.

Use a lip product with an SPF 30 or higher if you plan to be outside, even in the winter, said Dr. Del Campo. This not only protects against the UV damage that dehydration can cause, but also against the damage that causes sunburn and possibly skin cancer.
