A 33-year-old man was arrested twice in about 48 hours after stalking Taylor Swift outside her Manhattan home, police said Tuesday.

The man, David Crowe, of Seattle, was charged by police on Monday with two counts of harassment and two counts of stalking. A neighbor and a security guard at the pop star's TriBeCa building had spotted Mr. Crowe, who was first arrested this weekend near Ms. Swift's home.

Around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, security personnel called 911 to report that Mr. Crowe had attempted to enter the home, police said.

When officers looked up Mr. Crowe's name in police files, they saw that he had two warrants for his arrest from 2017: one for an open container and the other for disorderly conduct in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood. A judge had issued the arrest warrants after Mr. Crowe failed to appear in court to respond to those subpoenas.

Mr. Crowe was arrested on these warrants on Saturday, but was not charged with attempting to enter Ms. Swift's home.

At around 6pm on Monday, Mr Crowe returned to Ms Swift's building, police said. A neighbor and at least one member of the singer's security team saw Mr. Crowe and called 911. Mr. Crowe was acting “erratically,” police said.

Mr. Crowe's charges of stalking and harassment were still pending, according to a spokesman for the Manhattan district attorney's office.
