Taylor Swift’s dad Scott was in Total Dad mode during Chiefs Game

Taylor Swift‘s father, Scott Swifthelped encourage his daughter Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs when they defeated the New England Patriots.

The father-daughter duo sat in a suite at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts on Sunday, December 17, as the Chiefs defeated the Patriots 27-17. While Taylor’s reactions turned heads throughout the game — she was caught yelling “fk” after a botched play involving Kelce — Scott completed his Chiefs fan transformation.

Scott, 71, was seen standing next to Taylor, 34, as she appeared on the stadium’s jumbotron. The singer, who was also there Patrick Mahomes‘ woman, Brittany Mahomes, blew a kiss to the camera, and her father proudly pointed to his Chiefs jersey. (Before Taylor started dating Travis, she and her father were loyal Philadelphia Eagles fans.)

Former Patriots intern Shannen Moenwho currently works as a content specialist for a Massachusetts-based company, later shared some sweet TikTok videos of Taylor’s interactions with her father from an adjacent suite.

“I came for Tay,” she captioned a clip that has since gone viral. In the video, Scott took some selfies with his daughter as they sat in their seats. Taylor held up two peace signs and stuck her tongue out for the photo as Scott smiled.

“Scott Swift’s photo gallery is the real vault,” one fan joked, reposting the video via X (formerly Twitter).

In a second video, Moen showed Scott “sharing Taylor’s birthday cake” with fans in her other suite. “We love you,” she said captioned the TikTok, which showed Scott setting up the treat and interacting with fans. The camera quickly panned to Taylor, who watched her father’s gesture from her seat and laughed along. (Taylor’s song “Lover” played in the background of Moen’s video.)

Taylor was first spotted supporting Kelce and the Chiefs in September and has since become a fixture at NFL games. Along with Scott, she will be joined by members of her famous group throughout the season Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Unpleasant Alana Haim. She was also spotted bonding with Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna, at Arrowhead Stadium.

When Kelce flew to Argentina to see Taylor perform on her international leg Eras tour last month he was spotted next to Scott, who was conspicuously wearing a Chiefs lanyard.

“I got him on his good side, baby,” Kelce joked about Scott during an episode following his “New Heights” podcast, noting that he has converted Taylor’s family to Chiefs fans “one by one.”

“Maybe I talked him into it the night before at dinner when I met him,” Kelce added, noting that Scott is a “big football guy.”

Eagles center Jason Kelce, however, wasn’t too happy with the development.

“What are we doing?” he joked. “Are you going to let your devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter distract you from a life of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous.”
