‘Trickster’ Prince Louis has royal fans crossed with his fingers – as he poses for the first photo of Kate Middleton and the kids since her surgery
Prince Louis has once again delighted royal fans on X, formerly Twitter, with his playful attitude.
The young prince was photographed with his mother, Kate Middleton, 42, and siblings, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, eight, to mark Mother’s Day.
And social media followers couldn’t help but be fascinated by Louis, who cheekily crossed his fingers in the family snap, snapped by his father, Prince William.
One user called the five-year-old a “cheater” and wrote: “Not Louis crossing his fingers making it look like AI!”
It is the first family photo since the Prince and Princess of Wales released a Christmas portrait with their three children, which appeared to have suffered a Photoshop error.

Meanwhile, another fan wrote: ‘Prince Louis cheeky as ever with his pinkies.’
Someone else said: ‘It’s a beautiful photo. But Prince Louis needs to stop trolling us with weird finger positions.”
“How does Prince Louis do that with his fingers?” someone asked.
It is the first family photo since the Prince and Princess of Wales released a Christmas portrait with their three children, which appeared to have suffered a Photoshop error.
In the monochrome image, the royal couple smiled next to their sons George and Louis, while Charlotte sat in a chair at the front of the group and Louis’ hand rested on the arm.
But due to an apparent editing error, Louis appeared to be missing the middle finger on his left hand.
Social media users immediately noticed the error, with some discovering even more inconsistencies.
The photo, taken by Josh Shinner, showed the family in matching white shirts – George wore a Ralph Lauren Polo number – with William and the boys in dark trousers. Kate and Charlotte opted for denim jeans.

The young royal is known for his mischievous behavior and stealing the spotlight at events.
On one occasion, he blew out Princess Charlotte’s candle during his mother’s annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey, causing trouble for his sister.
The new family portrait is the first of Kate to be released since her operation and the Princess of Wales thanked the public for their support as she continues to recover.
Kate shared a post on Instagram and wrote: ‘Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the past two months.
‘I wish everyone a happy Mother’s Day’.
The mother-of-three has stepped back from her royal duties since being admitted to the London Clinic on January 16 for ‘planned abdominal surgery’.
