The View's Joy Behar pokes fun at Alyssa Farah Griffin's 'stewardess' dress: 'I wonder if you serve snacks!'

Joy Behar joked about her co-host, Alyssa Farah Griffin's style choice, during Wednesday's episode of The view and joked that she was wearing a “stewardess dress.”

The TV personality, 81 – who declined to play Jason Sudeikis' mother in the hit series Ted Lasso – was talking about the “chaos” of social media in today's world when she used Alyssa's 34-year-old outfit as an example.

She explained that in the past there was a “certain decorum in the atmosphere,” but added: “There is total chaos now because of social media.”

“Any anonymous person can make a statement,” Behar continued, and pointing directly to Alyssa, she added, “[about] your flight attendant outfit.”

The five presenters – including Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines – seated at the table broke into small laughs, while Griffin joined in on the playful jab by responding with, “Oh burn!”

Joy continued, smiling, “I wonder if you serve snacks,” while Hostin quickly interjected, saying, “That's a term of endearment.”

Behar — who also mocked Sunny's off-the-shoulder top — then told Alyssa, “It's a joke,” before casually cutting back to the previous conversation.

The former White House Director of Strategic Communications was seen wearing a white mini dress with short sleeves, a pointed collar and buttons down the front.

Blue trim was seen around the neckline, as well as the arm cuffs and waist of the ensemble.

The talk show host completed the look by donning a pair of white closed-toe heels to match the color scheme of the look.

In the comments section of the humorous clip shared on YouTube's main page, fans and viewers also gave their thoughts on Griffin's outfit during the episode.

One fan typed, “I thought the same about Alyssa's outfit as Joy, it's very flight attendant chic,” followed by a laughing emoji.

Another wrote: 'Joy calls out Sunny and Alyssa's dress code…' while a viewer defended their looks by adding: 'Off topic but Alyssa looks great in white and Sunny is amazing.'

But it wasn't the first time Alyssa's clothes became a topic on the daytime talk show.

Last year, in July 2023, Griffin stunned her co-hosts while wearing a $479 Alexander Wang button-up top with asymmetrical cutouts around the shoulders.

At some point during the last episode, Behar had said to her, “I'm fascinated by that shirt you're wearing.”

Whoopi Goldberg then interjected, adding, “I didn't want to bring it up. I thought I wasn't going to say anything.'

Alyssa admitted, “I'm not sure if I'm wearing it well. But I like it, so I just go with it.” Goldberg could then be seen with scissors in her hand, ready to cut the shirt to make the piece look good.

“I don't want anyone to get nervous, but we've been talking about this shirt and I really feel like someone needs to cut it for it to work.” But I feel like we should call Fran [Taylor]the actress explained, referring to their stylist.

Taylor then stepped on stage and confirmed that Alyssa had not been wearing the top correctly, and she quickly made a few adjustments.

Earlier on Tuesday, Hostin had also defended her sense of style on The View, per People.

The 55-year-old co-host specifically responded to trolls who claimed she dressed “too young.”

'Guess what, again? “I don't care,” she said confidently. “I've felt better than I've ever felt my whole life, and I'm 55.”
