The Voice: Huntley wins season 24 with coach Niall Horan taking the title for the second straight win on the NBC singing competition show

Huntley was named the winner of season 24 of The Voice on Tuesday during a star-studded, two-hour live finale on NBC.

The 33-year-old singer from Fredericksburg, Virginia, took home the title while representing 30-year-old coach Niall Horan.

Ruby Leigh, 16, of Foley, Missouri, came in second, representing new coach Reba McEntire, 68.

It was the second win in a row for Niall, who starred in season 23 of The Voice with Gina Miles, 20, in his first season as a coach in May.

Mara Justine, 21 from Galloway, New Jersey, finished in third place while also representing Niall.

Reba’s singer Jacquie Roar, 38, from North Plains, Oregon, finished in fourth place.

Lila Forde, 24, from Seattle, finished in fifth place, representing her coach John Legend, 44.

The final results will be shown on Tuesday, after the performance on Monday of the five finalists, who each performed a ballad and up-tempo songs.

The finalists performed a duet with their coaches on Tuesday before the results of the viewer vote were announced.

Tuesday’s star-studded finale also featured a performance by Keith Urban, who performed Blue Ain’t Your Color.

Future coaches Dan + Shay also sang Bigger Houses, while Teddy Swims performed Lose Control and sibling trio AJR Yes I’m A Mess and Bang! during the live show.

South African singer Tyla, 21, treated viewers to a performance of her songs Truth Or Dare and Water.

Legendary music group Earth, Wind & Fire also took the stage, delivering a medley of hits including Boogie Wonderland, Let’s Groove and September.

The Voice premiered on NBC in April 2011 as part of the international The Voice franchise, based on the original The Voice of Holland.

Blake Shelton, 47, coached the first 23 seasons before stepping down before the start of season 24.

Season 25 will premiere on February 26, 2024 on NBC with John and Reba returning, along with new coaches Dan + Shay and Chance The Rapper returning after a one-season hiatus.
