This morning Aunt Deidre was ridiculed after telling a pregnant woman who had been cheated on four times by her military husband to “get a kiss and a hug every day.”
This Morning fans are slamming Aunt Dear Deidre for some advice she gave to a woman who called to talk about a dilemma she was experiencing.
The caller revealed that she was a parent of a six-month-old baby, and that her husband, who was in the military, lives three hours away.
She found out that he had cheated on her with four women during his deployment.
Now, she said, she didn't know what to do, whether to stay or go, and she couldn't stop thinking about it.
When Deidre asked what the man had said about his cheating, the caller said she had “never heard him beg so much” but that she “couldn't have it.” [the cheating] out [her] head'.

Social media users were shocked by the advice and advised the caller to end the relationship rather than follow Deidre's advice
In terms of why it had happened, the caller said her husband blamed the culture of staying away, and peer pressure, saying that sleeping with other women was often something the “boys” did when they were away goods.
Commenting on the situation, Deidre suggested: 'It's such good news that your husband is very remorseful, that he is very sorry. So what you need to do now is put some kind of practical building blocks in place to try to rebuild trust between the two.”
She added that the two should “express their love for each other.”
“You know, sometimes it feels a little…unromantic to say, but you have to make sure you get a kiss and a hug every day,” Deidre added.
“For you to say, 'I love you,' for you to actually talk to each other… try to put it aside, even if it's five minutes of really connecting emotionally so you know where you are.”

In a similar vein, another said: '#ThisMorning I can't believe she suggested advice when it's clear the dude is a serial cheat? No amount of marriage counseling will help him out of trouble. He wants to have his cake and eat it and then a second and a third.”
Deidre concluded by recommending the couple read a book by Neil Sinclair because it is 'so confidence-inspiring for dads'.
She added: “You're under a lot of stress and it takes a lot of resilience on your part…to really be able to withstand all the pressure that's thrown at you. So take a look at your own life. And think about ways to build resilience in that, so that you don't have to spend all your time just thinking about him and where he is and what he's doing.”
