Timothee Chalamet cuts a casual figure in baggy sweatpants and a hoodie as he returns to LA… as girlfriend Kylie Jenner takes Paris Fashion Week by storm

Timothee Chalamet kept it casual as he arrived to LAX on Friday while his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, has whisked herself away to attend Paris Fashion Week.

The Call Me By Your Name actor, 28 – who is reportedly ‘madly in love’ with the beauty mogul, 26 – was spotted walking down a set of stairs while leaving a plane as he returned to sunny California.

The star donned a pair of black, baggy sweatpants as well as a warm, gray hoodie. He easily draped a black jacket over the crook of his left arm instead of also wearing the outer piece.

Chalamet slipped into a pair of sneakers that were secured with laces to stay comfortable during the busy day of travel. 

A backpack was placed over his right shoulder and Timothee also held a blue folder and cup in his hand.  

The actor was seen making his way down a set of stairs to head to an awaiting vehicle that took him to his next destination. 

Behind him, another individual also strolled down the steps while giving a helping hand by carrying Chalamet’s guitar case. 

Timothee had returned from a visit to Minnesota while preparing for his role as Bob Dylan in an upcoming biopic titled, A Complete Unknown – which is being directed by James Mangold. 

According to People, Chalamet had the chance to briefly visit the folk artist’s hometown in Hibbing, and also paid a special visit to his old high school. 

While stopping by the school, the Wonka actor also spent time with the drama department and mingled with some of the students. 

It was announced back in 2020 that Timothee – who will be offering his own vocals in the project – would be stepping into the shoes of the singer-songwriter in the biographical picture. 

The movie will center around a young Dylan during his rise to fame in the music industry and his use of an electric guitar for the first time in 1965. 

With production being delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes last year, filming is slated to commence later this year in March, per Deadline.  

Last year in July, director James Mangold opened up about the biopic and revealed that Bob Dylan has been involved with the project during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. 

He explained, per IndieWire, that due to the movie focusing more on ‘a very specific moment’ in the singer’s life, Bob ‘has been so supportive of us making it.’ 

‘The best true-life movies are never cradle to grave but they’re about a very specific moment,’ the filmmaker explained. 

Mangold also stated, ‘I’ve spent several, wonderfully charming, days in his company, just one-on-one, talking to him.’ 

‘I have a script that’s personally annotated by him and treasured by me. He loves movies.’ 

In regards to the premiere, James said, ‘it’s a kind of ensemble piece about this moment in time, the early ’60s in New York, and this 17-year-old kid with $16 in his pockets hitchhikes his way to New York to meet Woody Guthrie who is in the hospital and is dying of a nerve disease.’ 

‘He sings Woody a song that he wrote for him and befriends Pete Seeger, who is like a son to Woody, and Pete sets him up with gigs at local clubs and there you meet Joan Baez and all these other people who are part of this world.’ 

Aside from Timothee, other stars that have been cast in the movie also include Edward Norton and Elle Fanning. 

Timothee has been keeping busy and recently celebrated the release of Wonka which hit theaters last month on December 15. 

His other film, Dune: Part Two, is set to premiere later this year on March 1, and also stars Florence Pugh, Austin Butler and Zendaya. 

His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, has been spotted enjoying time during Paris Fashion Week, and has attended various runway shows, such as Jean Paul Gaultier. 

On Thursday, she flaunted her toned frame in a figure-hugging, gray sequin dress which she wore at the Maison Margiela fashion show. 

She paired the look with a closed-toed, white heels and also added a pair of sheer, gray gloves for a fashionable flare. 

Her locks were styled to have a wet look and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves. 

Kylie was joined by her mother Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian at the star-studded event, and has been taking to Instagram to give her 399 million fans a closer glimpse at her looks for PFW – which ended on Thursday. 

The mother-of-two brought along her mini-me daughter Stormi, five, for the festivities and the duo were spotted at the Valentino after party together on Wednesday. 

Beforehand, Kylie notably crossed paths with Chalamet’s close friend, Florence Pugh, during the runway show for the brand.  

Timothee and Kylie were first romantically linked in April 2023 when her Range Rover was parked at the actor’s L.A. home. However, the two had initially met earlier that year in January during Paris Fashion Week. 

After sparking relationship rumors in April, the pair continued to spend time together as their romance blossomed. 

Later in September, the two stars made their first public appearance as a couple and shared a kiss while at a Beyonce concert at SoFi Stadium. 

They also attended the U.S. Open tennis match together and were spotted sharing sweet, affectionate moments while sitting next to each other. 

In November, Kylie supported her beau at the Wonka premiere in L.A. with her mother Kris Jenner. But while Chalamet walked the red carpet, Kylie chose to enter through a back entrance. 

Most recently, the lovebirds attended the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month. Afterwards, a source told Us Weekly, ‘Timothee mingled for a little bit but was otherwise right next to Kylie the whole time.’ 

‘They were having a very intimate conversation and shared a few kisses. It was obvious they have amazing chemistry.’ Sources added that the two are ‘madly in love.’ 

Another insider also revealed that the actor has met Kylie’s two children, Stormi and Aire – whom she shares with ex Travis Scott.

‘Timothee has met them in group situations where there were other family members or friends around.’ 

‘It hasn’t been anything where it’s just Kylie, Timothee and the kids in an intimate setting. And she introduced him as one of Mommy’s friends. Kylie feels like it’s [still] too soon to let them know anything about their relationship.’

In regards to her family: ‘They absolutely adore him. They are all for this relationship and really hope it lasts.’
