After determining Then Gheesling And Phaedra Parks as traitors in episode 1, they take their first step in episode 2: murder Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio.

While the Challenge star said We weekly that he was not surprised to be eliminated first; he had no idea about the first Big Brother winner and Real Housewives of Atlanta star were behind the murder.

“Part of me thought it could have been like this Marcus [Jordan] And Larsa [Pippen]“, Bananas said in a joint interview with the couple, who were shocked by his confession. “Because I was proposing that idea to you in the car, I thought, 'What if it's one of you and then you kill the other?' So I thought, 'Oh, maybe I was on to something and they killed me.' I questioned everyone, [even host] Alan Cummings. I thought, 'Alan probably killed me because I stole his gold bar.' So I didn't know that at the time. They immediately killed me and asked me during my exit interviews, “Do you have any idea who did this?” And I'm like, 'I have no idea.'”

Bananas added that the traitors “gave me more credit than I deserve.”

“Yes, I'm good at competitive shows, but this is a very different style of show,” he explained. “I think the traitors weren't necessarily threatened by me as a competition on the show. I think they were more threatened by me as competition for camera time and entertainment value. And because they didn't put any of that on the screen, they wanted to get rid of anyone who did.”

The elimination of bananas

“I wouldn't change anything about what I did,” Bananas continued. “People say, 'Oh, you wish you had gone in and not done so much?' I'm like, 'I still went home anyway.' “I could have gone into that castle, sat in the corner and read the Bible the whole time, and I still would have been the first one out,” Bananas said. We weekly. “So no, I wanted to go in and I thought, 'If I go down, I want to go up in flames.'

So how did his fellow MTV stars feel about seeing him go first? “I mean, I wasn't mad about it,” Trishelle Cannatella told Us. “We don't have the best history, CT and Bananas and I.”

Chris “CT” Tamburello called it “a shame for the show in general” to lose Bananas so early.

“I thought he was going to be a lot of fun. He would have brought a different dynamic to the show,” he said. “Because typical in our own universe, when it comes down to it The challengewe're in this bubble where it's always there [against each other]. But on the outside world I looked forward to him and Trishelle [and I] really want to work together sometime. …. I can only imagine how much money we could have won after he got there [longer].”

Peppermint vs. Trishelle

“The word slip-up was a word slip-up. I mean, it was clear that I wasn't a traitor if you watched the episode. And I certainly wasn't like, 'Let me tell these people I'm a traitor.' So it was just a mistake. I felt my back against the wall,” Peppermint said Us. “I was voted the most popular player in the game in the superlatives and no one spoke to me that day. It was kind of a cold shoulder from everyone, which put me on edge a little bit. But that made it very difficult to have a conversation with people. And so I actually felt a little bit abandoned and people were like, 'You're done. Because of what Trishelle said, you're done. We don't want to hear what you have to say. We don't want to be connected to you.' And that was very difficult in the first few moments of the match.”

Peppermint added, “I feel like she let me down a little bit and sabotaged me a little bit, but that's the name of the game. I hoped she was the traitor.”

Trishelle insisted Us that she was “trying to get to know Peppermint,” explaining, “And I feel like she was very close to the chest, which is fine.” And I think in this game it's a little bit different, but I've played competitive games before and so for me, if you're trying to get to know someone and they don't want to get to know you, they hide. something. So I was feeling a bit of a weird vibe.

“[But] I wanted to recruit Parvati early because she was a little excited,” he explained. “And also because I want to make a show that the fans want to see. When will I ever get a chance to work with the Black Widow? And in a strange way it was exciting and scary, because I know how dangerous she is. I felt like she was a bit like the female version of me: you trust her, but you also bring her to the study and you could be stabbed at any moment. So I wanted to bring her in to see if we could somehow find a way to work together, but it was definitely scary at times.
