A BEAUTY guru has revealed the skincare routine she followed to combat the signs of aging on her skin.
She didn't appear to have any fine lines or wrinkles as she shared the products that helped her regain a youthful glow.
Los Angeles-based TikToker, who posts under the handle @balancedbeautyoverhas over 5,400 followers.
She shared an old photo of her skin looking uneven, dry and aged, before revealing how she transformed it with an anti-aging morning skincare routine.
“I start with a gentle and hydrating cleanser like CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser because I have combination dry skin and it's also quite sensitive,” she said as she applied the product.
“Studies have shown that melanized skin has lower levels of ceramides and that ceramides help protect the skin barrier.
“There is also a higher moisture loss, which is why I keep my skin care focused on renewal, hydration and protection.”

“Toner helps remove lingering dirt and cleanser residue, balances your skin's PH and also shrinks pores,” she said.
“I use Paula's Choice Replenish Toner specifically because it has been specially developed for dry skin.

“Next, I'm going in with my vitamin C serum,” she said as she held on Hyper skin Hyper Even Brightening Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum, which costs $36 on the brand's website.
“I prefer to apply after my toner because my skin will be more acidic, which allows for better vitamin C absorption.”
The beauty guru said essences aren't essential in a skincare routine, but she believes it helps with serum absorption.
She used Tatcha The Essence Plumping Skin Softener, available to purchase Amazon for $110.
“I then go in with a caffeine eye serum and an eye cream because I want to make sure I don't have to fight through the serums I'm going to add later,” she said.
“I also don't use actives on this part of my face because it's so sensitive.”
The Ordinary's Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG, which costs $9, reduces bags and dark circles under the eyes.
Meanwhile, La Roche-Posay's Toleriane dermallergo eye cream “helps restore the natural protective moisture barrier of the skin around the eyes and eyelids,” according to the description on the website. Goal website.
The TikToker sprayed her face with rose water mixed with aloe vera juice to prepare her skin for the application of hyaluronic acid.
She used Kiehl's Ultra Pure High-Potency 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum, which cost $35, and then waited five minutes to continue her skincare routine.
“I use Paula's Choice 20% niacinamide,” she said.
“Honestly, you don't really need more than 5% and that will probably be better, especially if you have sensitive skin.
“Over the past three years I have built up my skin so that it can handle this high percentage of niacinamide.
“I only use it once a day and only on the oily areas of my skin.”

She completed the skincare routine by moisturizing with Youth To The People Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream, sold Amazon for $48, followed by Supergoop's Unseen sunscreen for $38.
“Supergoop is probably one of the only brands that hasn't broken my face,” she said as she applied the product.
“It also works for a pretty good primer, especially if I'm going for a no-makeup makeup look.”
More than 5,700 viewers liked the skincare routine and took to the comments section gushing over her look.
