Like Us, Travis Kelce wanted to know if brother Jason Kelce went shirtless again during the AFC Championship game.
After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens to secure their spot in the Super Bowl, Travis, 34, took the field on Sunday, January 28. He had his arm around his girlfriend Taylor Swift when he saw Jason, 36. The Eagles center pulled Travis into a sweet embrace. “That was fun to watch!” he said.
Meanwhile, Travis went ahead and asked. “Are you going to keep your shirt on this time or something?”
“I've done that for now. We'll see how it goes,” Jason joked.
After the joke, Jason and Travis shared an emotional hug. “I know it wasn't easy. I know it's been a tough year,” Jason said as he hugged Travis. 'You have remained faithful. Finish it for me. Finish this motherfucker.”
The brothers told each other how much they loved each other before Travis took the stage to celebrate receiving the Lamar Hunt trophy.
A week earlier, Jason turned quite a bit of attention when he saw the Chiefs play the Buffalo Bills in New York. After Travis scored a touchdown, Jason celebrated by taking off his shirt and shouting in support. He also climbed out of the suite and into the stands.
Jason talked about his “fun” night during the Wednesday, Jan. 24 episode of his and Travis' “New Heights” podcast.
“This was an opportunity to honestly just go somewhere and… have fun and move on [my] brother,” he said, adding that he hadn't been able to see Travis as a fan in two years.
He thought taking your shirt off was a “Buffalo Bills thing” and wanted the full fan experience. “I wanted to go all out and be with the fans. … I feel like I was possessed by Bills Mafia at this tailgate,” he joked.
Jason's wife, Kylie Kelcetold Good morning America on Friday, January 26, that her husband “desperately wanted [jump] through a table” while tailgating. “It was on his checklist for the day, the top priority of the day – reviewing the table,” she said, noting that Jason “didn't get a chance to do that.”
So he decided to expose the nipple instead. “I was like, 'I don't think this is the best idea,'” Kylie added, noting that she initially came up with the idea.
Finally she had to tell him to bring it in. “The first time he jumped out of the suite, I was like, 'You know what, go ahead.' That's my husband,” Kylie shared. “And when he did it the second and third time, I was like, 'You gotta get back in,' because the poor cops out front are trying to keep the chaos to a minimum. You make their job harder.”
