Rada, from Flekkefjord, Adger, Norway, has been mocked by the media for the single strand on her forehead and although she has been told to remove it, she says she is proud of her appearance.

“All my life everyone asked me questions like, ‘What is that strange thing on your forehead?’ or ‘Why do you have hair on your forehead?’, ‘Why don’t you cut/weld it?'” she said.

“It really makes me sad that it bothers people so much. I love my forehead hair and have never thought of it as something ugly or weird, or even thought about cutting it.”

Rada first noticed the loose strand of hair on her forehead when she was a young child in kindergarten, but she thought it was something everyone had.

It wasn’t until the kids in her class started pointing at her locks of hair and asking about it that she realized her hair was unique.

After leaving school, Rada decided to take up modeling where she has now participated in multiple photo shoots for various agencies.

However, not all of her agencies supported the single strand on her forehead and she says some of them even asked her to laser the hair off.

When sharing her story online, she says she sometimes comes across negative comments about her hair, which she finds incredibly disturbing.

On the plus side, some users love her hair as much as she does and Rada is always happy to read their nice comments.

Now Rada wants to continue her modeling career and she is looking forward to showing off her unique hair.

I got the best curlers of my life thanks to a £6 purchase from the most unlikely store – here’s where to find them

“It definitely helped with modeling! Everyone finds it so special and unique! They use it as an accessory, and they love it! Especially the hairstylists!” she said.

“I try very hard not to listen to the negative comments and listen to the positive comments, even though it’s not always easy.

“Everyone has their dark days and that’s when negativity hits the hardest. I also love people who see it the way I do, as something special and unique, and I love that so many people see inspiration in what I post on my TikTok page.

“I even asked my parents about it, and they told me I’ve always loved it. Even as a little girl, I told everyone that that made me special.

“My mother thought I would have problems with my mental health because of this and was afraid of it, but for me it was the opposite. I accepted that I was special and saw it as something positive.

“I think my mother played a big role in this by always telling me that I am special because I have it.

“Some modeling agencies have even asked me if I would consider lasering it off.

“I try to explain to people that having things that no one else has is not weird, but special and unique, and that you should love yourself for who you really are.”
