Vladimir Putin's greatest enemy Alexei Navalny has died in prison after being held in solitary confinement, Russia claims

VLADIMIR Putin's top critic Alexei Navalny has died in a hellish prison in Siberia, Russia claims.

The jailed Russian opposition leader, 47, was discovered in one of Putin's toughest prisons in December last year after being missing for twenty days.

Officials at the prison where Navalny was being held claimed today that the Kremlin critic had died.
