The user then posted before and after photos of the clean bathroom, as she wrote: “Proud of the results.”

In addition to the afterthe user explained: “I got caught my a**. I will find the exact products and share them here.

“For the most part, I cut everything out with an Exacto knife and a kit cutting tool.

“Then I scrubbed all the stuff that was on the sides of the wall and the tub.

“Then I covered the area to prevent water from getting into the wall.

“I sprayed the mold and bleach into every crease and tile and let it sit for 45 minutes.

“Then I used another product and a stiff scrub brush and did the tiles themselves and the grouting.

“Then I rinsed and dried everything and applied new sealant!

“I also wore an n95 [face mask] and the room well ventilated.”

The cleaning fan, who is from the US, later explained that she was the Mr. Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist and the Vim Ultra used Current Mold Remover, which you can buy on Amazon.

However, if you're on a budget, the Kilrock Mold Remover spray, which you can get for £2.50 from Ocado, would be a brilliant alternative.

Not only this, but the Astonish Mold & Mildew Blaster, which retails at Sainsbury's for just £1.50, is a great and much more affordable solution.

Social media users were stunned by the Reddit post and were eager to share it in the comments.

One person said: “This is a Hall of Fame post! You did a fantastic job, enjoy your beautiful bathroom.”

To this, the cleaning enthusiast replied: “Thank you, it really brought some relaxation to the apartment.

“For our mental health it was like a new beginning. Replaced shower curtain and everything.”

Another said: “Thanks for sharing!! I've been having problems with our shower stall since we moved here. It wasn't great when we got the house and nothing worked. I've been thinking about just putting in new caulking.”

A third commented: “Phenomenal work.”

In addition, a professional cleaner here in the UK raves about another product that will banish mold in no time.

A cleaning lady from The Clearance Company took to TikTok to share the product you need to get rid of mold in your home.

She said: “So you have mold on the sealant, around the edge of your window frames and your bath?

“Okay, I was just cleaning my grandpa's house with my mother-in-law and she came across this: It's the Elbow Grease, a new and improved mold and mildew stain remover.”

The cleaner then showed her sparkling clean surfaces as she added: 'I'm just going to show you, so these seals here were all filled with mold just from condensation on the windows.

'As you can see, they are absolutely brand new.

“So I've always struggled with this, even as a professional cleaner, it's something I've always struggled with.

“So we sprayed that on and left it for half an hour, and it literally all bought up.

“So if you have it hanging on the side of your bath or window frame, grab a few. Absolutely fantastic.”
