A WOMAN has been arrested after a man in her 40s was stabbed outside a primary school during collection time.

Police rushed to Capel Manor Primary School in Enfield, North Londonin response to reports about “a man stabbed“Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

The victim was rushed to hospital at the scene, where his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

A 34-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.

It is believed the school was placed on lockdown as a precaution when emergency services arrived on the scene.

Students are said to have been stuck in the school until 4.30pm following the incident involving two adults.

Children were reportedly left “shocked and upset” as they waited inside.

However, no students or employees were involved in the incident, police said.

a metropolitan police A spokesperson added: “Police were called at around 3.15pm on Tuesday to reports of a man who had been stabbed at a school in Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield.

“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found a man in his 40s suffering a stab wound – he was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life-threatening.

“A 34-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH and remains in custody.

“No students or staff at the school were involved in this incident. Investigations into the circumstances continue.”
