I got kicked off the Winter Wonderland ice rink after a Karen complained about my ‘inappropriate’ miniskirt – I’m going to wear it again because I should have stuck to my guns

A woman who was removed from a Winter Wonderland ice rink because of her ‘inappropriate’ skirt has vowed to return in the same outfit this year.

Lowri Rose, 24, says her visit to the Cardiff tourist attraction in December 2022 was ‘completely ruined’ when another visitor complained about her ‘inappropriate’ clothing.

The OnlyFans model was dressed in a cropped white turtleneck, a plaid miniskirt and some knee-high socks for her festive night out with friends.

Under her skirt, Lowri wore tan spandex shorts as she planned to go ice skating that evening.

Speaking to the Daily starLowri said she plans to recreate the outfit when she visits the festival again this year because “life is too short to wear boring clothes.”

Lowri Rose, 24, says a ‘Karen-type’ visitor complained about her outfit at Winter Wonderland in Cardiff last year

She explained, “I’m going to wear a miniskirt again. On reflection, I wish I had stood my ground more last year and if it happened again this year I would definitely be more firm.”

The social media star – who has 118,000 followers on Instagram – says she dresses in miniskirts every day and wants to ‘prove a point’ by wearing them again.

Describing how she has “worked to stand up for herself,” Lowri added: “I wouldn’t let anyone talk to me like that again and it was my girlfriend who mainly defended me last time.” ‘

However, this wasn’t the first time Lowri’s outfits caused trouble in public.

Lowri emphasized that she does not need to change her wardrobe and said that people who have problems with her “crazy style” have “problems with themselves.”

Lowri said at the time that it was “out of order” that she had been removed from the rink because there was no dress code on their website.

Lowri took to Twitter to complain about the incident, insisting her outfit “completely covered her.”

Furious, she said: ‘I would like to know why I was pulled off the ice yesterday and humiliated by the staff for wearing a skirt (with shorts underneath). I hadn’t realized there was such a strict dress code for skating? I’m not sure why your staff engages in blatant bullying.

Only Fans star Lowri Rose criticized the fellow attendee for complaining about her outfit. The model claims she was told to cover up before she could return to the ice

‘If a female customer complains about my appearance, shouldn’t she be told that it’s wrong to single someone out? It is not uncommon to wear a skirt downtown on a Friday evening. I know this has to do with the way I look (I’m covered in tattoos).”

After taking her from the rink, Lowri claimed that staff told her she would have to cover up with a jacket if she wanted to skate any more.

However, the social media star says she doesn’t have to take her coat out of the cloakroom even though she paid to store it there.

Lowri insisted her outfit was not “unusual” for a Friday night in the city and demanded a full refund and an apology from the park.

In a follow-up to TikTok, Lowri said: “Would this happen if I didn’t look like this? I do not think so.

“You’re screwed, Karen, for ruining my Winter Wonderland experience, and you screwed the Winter Wonderland staff for living up to a Karen.”

A ‘Karen’ is a term for a self-righteous middle-aged woman who tells people how to do their jobs, stands up for their rights and complains to the manager.

The term became popular in meme culture on internet forum Reddit to describe problematic women.
