'Adele ticket prices already look insane. Why do these artists make it so difficult for regular people to go see them live?'

'The ticket prices for Adele are criminal. I can't believe people are paying so much for it.'

“Adele ticket prices are VILE.”

The shows are the first European dates she has done since 2016, with many urging the singer to embark on a world tour.

Adele, who is currently performing weekly in a Las Vegas residency, will take to the stage in Europe on August 2, 3, 9, 10, 14, 16, 23, 24, 30 and 31 August 2024.

The singer – known for her hit songs such as Rolling in the Deep, Nobody Like You and Set Fire To The Rain – will perform in an open-air environment created exclusively for the special shows.

The custom-built arena will feature a combination of seating and standing seating with a capacity of 80,000 people per night.

Announcing the news on Instagram a week ago, Adele told her fans: 'So a few months ago I got a call about a series of summer shows. I've been extremely happy with my shows in London's Hyde Park and my residency in Vegas, so I had no other plans.”

'However, I was too curious not to pursue this idea: a one-off, tailor-made pop-up stadium, designed around the show I want to give? Ohhh!? Virtually a blow in the middle of Europe? In Munich?'

'That's a bit random, but fantastic nonetheless! Immediately after the euro? Come on England! With the Olympic Games next door? Go ahead Simone! And some of my favorite artists playing shows too? Why yes!!'

But frustrated fans took to social media to express their disappointment when they found more than 270,000 people queuing shortly after the sale opened.

By the end of its run, Adele will have played a whopping 50 Weekends With Adele dates (100 shows in total). She also thrilled her British audiences at her sold-out Hyde Park shows in London in 2022.
