Dart star 'experiences Valentine's Day the right way' by watching Stoke and playing snooker

FANS claimed Adrian Lewis was playing “a dangerous game” after he revealed he spent “Valentine's Day the right way” by watching his beloved Stoke City and playing snooker.

The beloved 34-year-old is a two-time PDC world champion, taking the crown in both 2011 and 2012.

And the 2013 European Championship and the 2014 UK Open are also on his CV.

Lewis is married to Sarah and the couple, who have three children together and both have children from previous relationships, tied the knot in 2012.

But on a day when most celebrate their love with romantic gestures such as flowers, chocolates and a fancy snack, the Englishman had an incredible night that most men would have envied.

Along with a laughing emoji and Stoke City badge, Lewis initially wrote on I look forward.”

One of his 193,000 followers then asked what would happen next, to which the man known as 'Jackpot' replied with a photo of a snooker table and the words: “I've booked a table for us.”

Fans were quick to respond to his comments as the pillar enjoyed some banter with them.

One said: “Send your brave fella! I hope you have something nice on site or spare room!”

To which Lewis responded: “She knows I really love her.”

Another wrote: 'Mate, your wife is lucky. That's romantic!”

But Lewis replied: “I'm not taking her haha.”

While a fellow fan declared he was “playing a dangerous game”.

It remains unknown whether he went through with his plans or not, but either way he will have been smiling after Stoke beat QPR.

He is also a four-time winner of the PDC World Cup of Darts.
