Lucid dreaming is the act of being aware that you are in a dream and sometimes having control over what is happening.

It is thought that one benefit of lucid dreaming is that people can be more productive while they sleep.

“The combination of ultrasound and machine learning models (created using EEG and fMRI data) allows us to detect when dreamers are in REM, to induce and stabilize lucid dreaming.

“Together we will pursue the answers to life's biggest questions,” the Prophetic website said explains.

Previously, Prophetic was looking for volunteers who had previously been involved in lucid dreaming studies.

The company has now opened a sign-up process that allows anyone to try out the gadget.

“The Halo is a tool that allows people to explore their subconscious.

'This is the most advanced neurotech wearable ever created.

“Halo's closed-loop neurostimulation system artificially reconstructs neural activation sequence patterns from natural lucid dreams on demand using multi-element focused ultrasound, generative 3D spatial pulse controls, fMRI training data, and EEG sensors,” Prophetic wrote.

The company requires a $100 deposit from those who want to try out the device.

It says this will be deducted from the total cost of the Halo, which is currently estimated at $2,000.

According to the websitethe deposit is 100 percent refundable.

The first 1,000 deposits will receive free access to the accompanying Prophetic app for a year.

So far, no evidence has been released showing that the Halo device actually works.

Prophetic previously revealed that its goal was to start shipping its devices in 2025.

It is said that most people spend about a third of their lives sleeping.

That's why a device like Halo could be revolutionary and even life-changing.
