Ahmedabad, December 3, 2023: Tamil Thalaivas’ star raider Ajinkya Pawar was on fire as he scored 21 runs against Dabang Delhi KC on Sunday evening. The Tamil Thalaivas walked off the mat as winners, with the score 42-31 in their favour.

The match started with attentiveness from both sides in the opening minutes. Early exchanges saw both teams pick up a couple of points each, with Ajinkya Pawar and Naveen Kumar taking their team off the ground. Neither side was willing to blink first, and the Tamil Thalaivas looked very strong at the back. The trend continued well into the second phase of the first half as Tamil Thalaivas and Dabang Delhi KC traded blows and failed to allow the opposition to gain a significant lead.

Ajinkya Pawar and Sahil Gulia took charge of the Tamil Thalaivas, while Naveen and Ashu Malik pushed the boundaries for the Dabang Delhi KC side. As the first half came to an end, Tamil Thalaivas landed an ALL OUT to Manjeet and stormed into the lead. However, Dabang Delhi KC were having none of that and quickly went through the gears, with Naveen registering a Super Raid. At half-time, Tamil Thalaivas were four points ahead, making the match a tight one.

Dabang Delhi KC had to raise the bar in the second half and after the breather they gave it their all. Nevertheless, the Tamil Thalaivas were on a roll. Ajinkya Rawar registered his Super 10 and was ably assisted by Narender and Himanshu, helping them extend the lead to six points early in the second half. At this point, the Tamil Thalaivas were looking to extend their lead, and Ajinkya was marching towards a twenty-point lead.

In the last ten minutes, the match turned in favor of the Tamil Thalaivas, who were on fire in all departments that day. Dabang Delhi KC left no stone unturned in the second half, but there were a few instances where there was a slip between the cup and the lip, and the opponents made that count. In the end, the men in yellow, Tamil Thalaivas, stormed over the line and won the match with relative ease.
