Alfredton: Two-month-old baby found dead in a house in Ballarat, Victoria
A baby has died in a home after being found unconscious by emergency services.
The two-month-old baby was found at a house on Swamp Gum Place in Alfredton, west of Ballarat, in Victoria, about 9pm on Saturday.
Emergency services performed CPR on the baby, but he died at the scene.
A Victoria Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia they are “yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.”
Victoria Police closed the street as detectives launched an investigation into the incident.
Officers are awaiting the results of the autopsy to determine the cause of death.
