Her YouTuber-turned-boxer manager and promoter Jake Paul knocked out Ryan Bourland in the first round of the co-headliner.

But news began to trickle in that Serrano had suffered an eye injury that would sensationally force her out of the fight.

And after knocking out Paul in the first round, she entered the ring wearing glasses to cover her face and looked devastated.

Serrano was clearly heartbroken as she confirmed that doctors refused to declare her fit to fight, meaning she had to withdraw at the last minute.

She said: “I was ready to fight, I came 100 percent to show my fans a great show.

“But the doctor didn’t give permission because I had something wrong with my eye.

“I had my hair done a few days ago, as you can see, the doctor didn’t give me permission to fight. I wanted to fight for my people.”

Serrano, 35, broke down in tears as he was comforted by Paul, 27, who spoke out to address the crowd.

He said: “I know there are people who are handcuffing, but Amanda came to fight, was put in a tough camp, but the doctors wouldn’t let her go forward because of her eye.

“Her cornea became exposed because she failed some eye tests that she couldn’t tolerate.

“She did everything she could to make it happen and this happened super, super last minute.

“We did everything we could to keep the fight going, but the doctors wouldn’t allow it.

“And her cornea was exposed and you can’t risk losing your sight forever just from a fight.”

Announced fans of Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions will receive a 100 percent refund.

And opponent Meinke wished Serrano as she said: “I am absolutely gutted. I hope Amanda is doing well and recovering quickly.

“Speedy recovery to you Amanda, I’m ready, I’m waiting for you, I’m ready when you are.

“I hope this fight will happen. I don’t want anyone to come here for nothing.”

Serrano’s other manager Nakisa Bidarian revealed that Serrano had her hair cut on Thursday, but during a run on Friday, chemicals seeped into her eye during a run.

And after a medical exam, officials deemed her unfit to fight, with MVP refunding more than $1 million in tickets.
