An air ambulance landed outside a primary school playground before a boy in need of ‘urgent medical attention’ was flown to hospital.
Emergency services responded to reports of the safety of a boy on Netherwood Road MerseysideLiverpool this morning around 7.50am.
An air ambulance was seen landing outside Wellesbourne Primary School at around 8am.
A teenage boy who needed urgent medical attention on Netherwood Road was flown to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed they were responding to reports of the youngster’s safety.
Officers and emergency services are still on site.
