Ariana Grande wishes her LGBTQ+ fans a happy London Pride as she lip syncs to Kylie Minogue in video

Ariana Grande took to her Instagram on Saturday to wish her followers a happy London Pride.

The pop star, 30, shared a video of her lip syncing to Kylie Minogue’s hit song Padam Padam.

She wore a pink dress and curled up under a matching pale pink fluffy blanket as she danced to the song.

Her blonde locks were swept up in a hair net and tied off her face with a pink clip.

Ariana wore a full face of glamorous makeup, including her usual winged black eyeliner.

Captioning the video, she addressed her LGBTQ+ fans by writing, “HAPPY LONDON PRIDE. I LOVE YOUUUUUUU.”

The Dangerous Woman hitmaker also gave a shout out to Kylie, saying, “‘@kylieminogue you are perfect.’

She thanked her makeup artist and hair stylist Gabor Kerekes for her stunning look, adding, “@gabork_mua ilysm.”

Ariana appeared to have filmed the video during a break from shooting her new movie Wicked, based on the Broadway show.

The Thank U Next singer plays Glinda The Good Witch in the film and has been spotted several times on the set in Buckingham.

Ariana dyed her naturally dark locks blonde for the role and stars opposite Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.

Based on Maguire’s 1995 novel of the same name, Wicked was first performed on Broadway in 2003 before premiering three years later at London’s Apollo Theatre.

In the play, Elphaba arrives at Shiz University and becomes roommates with Glinda, but their relationship becomes fraught years later when they meet the Wizard of Oz.

Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman, who co-wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway show, have adapted the screenplay with Jon M Chu directing.

Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum will also star in the film, which will be released late next year.

Jonathan Bailey appears as Fiyero Tigelaar, who gets engaged to Glinda in the play and movie Wicked, even though his true love for Elphaba pulls him away from her.

He later becomes the character known as the Scarecrow, who was played by Ray Bolger in the movie starring Judy Garland.

Saturday Night Live actors Bowen Yang, Adam James, Keala Settle and Bronwyn James are also part of the cast.

Last month, Goldblum revealed that he had been cast in the movie when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I was just on the set of Wicked. I can’t talk about that. But it’s out and over,” he said. “You should see our witches, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, very good.”

Fans of the hit Broadway musical will have to wait to see the full story via film, as Wicked is split into two parts.

The first film is currently scheduled for a November 27, 2024 release in theaters, with the second chapter arriving in December of the following year.
