Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers joins a bunch of expats and exes of the rich and famous for a new docuseries on Hulu.

In a trailer for the new docuseries, Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise, Elizabeth, 41, talks about the island and how it became a safe place for her before the shocking allegations of rape and cannibalism surfaced on the Call Me By Your Name actor, 37.

“Grand Cayman has been a sanctuary for me. I moved here with my husband three years ago, but things have changed,” Chambers said in a preview for the upcoming series, which dropped earlier this week.

She continued, “Even in paradise, it’s hard to know who to trust.”

The trailer then shows a number of photos of the former couple – who settled their custody dispute this summer – as well as clips from episodes of the show where the cast is seen lounging in the sun.

In February, the mother-of-two told the publication that cracks had been visible for months, with the actor’s behavior during lockdown proving to be the final straw.

The couple were on holiday with their children Harper, eight, and Ford, six, when Covid cases began to rise in the US, so they decided not to return to Los Angeles but instead go into quarantine in the Cayman Islands with Armie’s father and stepmother.

Yet their already strained marriage began to break down even faster, with Elizabeth describing Armie as “the worst” during quarantine.

For his part, Armie has described the time as a “very complicated, intense situation, with big personalities all locked up in a small place,” comparing himself to a wolf “caught in a snare” that wants to “bite its own foot” . out.’

Despite their struggles, Elizabeth was blindsided when her husband decided to leave the family and return to California, where he helped a friend restore an old motel outside Joshua Tree National Park.
