ATLETICO MADRID has unveiled plans for a stunning new 'sports city' with a mini stadium, an artificial beach and even a climbing wall.
The Spanish giants are ready to take the next step in their evolution after winning LaLiga twice in the last decade.
Diego Simeone's men have already moved to the ultra-modern Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
And Atletico now wants to surround the 70,000 arena with a sprawling complex with a range of buildings.
The entire project is expected to cost a staggering £220 million.
And it will cover a whopping one MILLION square feet of space.
Atletico first wants to build a new training ground, including six football fields, a gym and a medical center.
It means they will finally be based in Madrid itself, while Atleti are currently based in Majadohonda – 20km from their stadium.
The complex will also feature a new 6,000-seat stadium for Atletico's women's and youth teams, as well as public pitches.
But the Spanish giants do not only want to invest in football-related matters.

They plan to develop an athletics stadium as well as four indoor multi-sports fields.
There will even be an artificial beach for volleyball, complete with artificial waves for surfing.
And there are also plans for a golf course and a climbing wall.
Atletico wants to benefit from the public use of their facilities and will also build a hotel and a car park.
Oscar Mayo, their Managing Director of Business and Operations, said: “This is a very ambitious project that the club has had for many years.
“With a vision from the CEO, Miguel Angel, to build the entire sports city and entertainment complex around the stadium.
“It will undoubtedly energize the city and be transformative for the club, but also for its neighbors.”
