Bachelor Summary: Joey and Kelsey A. Discuss her “We Need to Talk” note

The Women tell everything was interrupted by Joey and Kelsey A’s ‘conversation’.

In case you missed it: the March 11 episode of The Bachelor ended up with Joey Graziadei spiraling past Kelsey Anderson sending him a card that says, “We need to talk.” As he gushed about the possibility of Kelsey wanting to leave the show, it became clear that she was a frontrunner for the final rose.

While the Monday, March 18 episode served as the Women tell everythingthe special included joey and kelsey’s conversation about the situation — and unfortunately, the Bachelor education‘s version of ‘the note’ turned out to be less dramatic than the letter written by him Snooki And JWow Unpleasant Sammi darling in 2009 that Jersey Shore Fans can still chant.

“We promised each other that we would be honest with each other about communicating our feelings and communication in general,” Kelsey began. ‘And I know how important all that is. I wanted you to know exactly how I feel about it. I just wanted to put into words that it’s hard not seeing you and the days in between are always so hard. All these feelings of loss [you] and curious. …I just want to tell you how much I miss you when you’re not here.

Joey then let out a deep sigh before Kelsey apologized for the shock. “I’m sorry. … Joey, are you okay?”

“No,” he replied, putting his head in his hands.

Kelsey continued to comfort him. “I wanted to come here and tell you that, and I wanted to tell you because I don’t know if I said it out loud: You know, I want to meet your family. I don’t know if I’ve ever said it in those words,” she said. “I think that’s often the case – I’m sorry.”

Joey replied that he was “confused” by the note after the pair had such a lovely evening in the fantasy suites.

“Your mind plays tricks on this and you have moments where you’re, like…” Joey said before cutting himself off.

In a confessional interview, he explained that he “wanted to hear” what Kelsey said, but he couldn’t “because of how scared” he was.

‘I don’t like that I have that [way] of simple words that meant nothing,” Joey said. “When I get to the point where I think something this bad could happen, I shut down. It makes you question everything.”

During his conversation with Kelsey, Joey noted that he told her his “biggest fear” was that the woman he chooses wouldn’t feel the same way. He reiterated that he sometimes “holds back” to protect himself.

“I feel bad that I stressed him out. If I could do it again, I would have written the letter differently,” Kelsey told ABC cameras. “I didn’t mean for him to feel scared or stressed, but it looks like he’s about to cry. When I saw him in that state, I found it disturbing. … I want him to be excited to see me.”

While Kelsey feared she would be sent home because of the note, that is later revealed Rachel Nance is the one who doesn’t get a rose and secures Kelsey and Daisy Kent like the last two.

The final of The Bachelor airs on ABC Monday, March 25 at 8pm ET.
