At 20,000 calories, that's ten times the recommended daily allowance of 2,000 for women.

It's available in the form of steak, minced beef, cheese or vegan alternatives – all with the secret puff or shortcrust pastry recipe and fillings including potatoes, swede and onion.

Each hefty beast is made using traditional handmade methods without machines in the assembly at Philps bakery in Hayle. Cornwall.

But you may have to scrimp and save to get it, as The Harvest will set you back a hefty £28.

Philps manager Cerys Baker said: “The Harvest is a monster.

“It started as a request for a centerpiece of the Harvest Festival in 1995.

'Someone said it would be a good idea at events including weddingsbirthdays and anniversaries”.

P.M Rishi Sunak sparked controversy this month when he came across Philps on a tour of Cornwall and held his patty sideways.

But the bakery did not join the queue and continued to insist: “Pats and politics do not mix.”

Cerys said everyone appreciated the snacks, adding: “It's the love that goes into the patties and the adherence to traditional methods.”
