Mystery after two bodies have been found on the Sebastopol property near Ballarat in regional Victoria
Mystery surrounds the discovery of two bodies in a house near Victoria's regional city of Ballarat.
Police confirmed the discovery of the two bodies at a house on Morgan St, Sebastopol, at around 9pm on Friday.
The bodies of a man, 55, and a woman, 42, were removed from the house. It is believed the pair knew each other.
It is still unknown how the two died, but police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
The Crime Investigation Unit is working with homicide detectives to determine the cause of death.
